What Participants Say

Over 260 people have made this journey. Here are a few of their stories.

"I've read the Bible my entire life, but nothing prepared me for what it feels like to actually stand where Jesus stood. Walking the Via Dolorosa, swimming in the Dead Sea, watching the sun rise over Masada — each day undid something in me and rebuilt it stronger. This trip changed my faith permanently."

Poland · Trip participant

"I was sceptical before going — I'm not particularly religious and I wasn't sure I'd fit in. Within two days that concern was completely gone. The group was warm, the teaching was scholarly without being preachy, and I came home with a far deeper understanding of history, culture and faith than I'd expected. Would go again without hesitation."

"The organisation was flawless. Every detail — accommodation, transport, meals, timing — was handled so well that I never once felt stressed. What struck me most was how much ground we covered without ever feeling rushed. Izabela's teaching at each site was extraordinary. I'm already encouraging my church group to join the next trip."

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before registering. Still have a question? Contact us directly.

Not at all. The trip is non-denominational and open to people of all backgrounds — whether you're deeply devout, exploring your faith, or simply curious about the history and culture of the region. The only things you need are an open mind and a willingness to engage with the material.
The trip involves moderate walking — typically 3–8km per day on uneven terrain at some sites. Masada offers both a strenuous hike (the Snake Path) and a cable car, so you can choose your level. August temperatures in Israel reach 35–40°C, so good footwear, sun protection and hydration are essential. Most participants of all ages complete the itinerary comfortably.
We take safety extremely seriously and monitor the situation closely. We only run trips when we are confident conditions are appropriate for a group visit. The current pause on trip dates is directly due to our commitment to participant safety. We will not confirm a date until we are satisfied the region is stable. All participants will be briefed on safety protocols before departure.
Teaching and daily communication is conducted in both English and Polish. Our local guides provide additional context in Hebrew at specific sites. Past groups have included participants from over seven countries and communication has never been a barrier — the international mix is part of what makes the experience so rich.
Yes — flights to and from Tel Aviv (Ben Gurion Airport) are not included in the trip price and must be arranged independently. However, we actively help coordinate this: once you register, we share the confirmed departure dates and work with you to identify the best flight options. Group members often travel on the same flights. Everything from the airport onwards is fully covered and handled by us.
The deposit of £400 / $500 / 1000 zł secures your place. If you need to cancel more than 60 days before departure, the deposit is refundable minus a small administrative fee. Cancellations within 60 days are non-refundable, though we will always try to find a replacement participant on your behalf. Full details are provided in the booking confirmation.
Absolutely — many participants come as couples, with friends, or as small church groups. We accommodate room-sharing preferences where possible. If you're travelling alone, you'll quickly find that the group dynamic is warm and inclusive; many solo participants have called the friendships formed on this trip one of its lasting gifts.
Once you register you'll receive a full packing guide. Key items include: comfortable walking shoes with ankle support, lightweight breathable clothing (modest dress is required at religious sites), a high-SPF sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, a good hat, and a small daypack. Swimwear for the Dead Sea and Jordan River is essential. You don't need to bring anything for meals or transport — all of that is handled.
